The Daily Maintenance of Laser Head
Circulating cooling water is a key factor to ensure that the laser head keep operate well!Unsuitable water temperature will lead to poor heat dissipation and condensation of the cutting head.Condensation causes puddle in the optical lens inside the laser head, resulting in light transmittance decrease and lower cutting speed.If serious damage to the fiber, it will cause unnecessary economic losses!
1. Cooling water temperature
Suggestion:
- Cutting head cooling water temperature range in summer: ambient temperature +0 ~ 5 °C is the most appropriate
- After each processing, check whether the protective lens has condensed water
- The laser is more suitable between 23-25 ° C , non-self-contained air conditioning or internal positive pressure gas lasers need to be equipped in air-conditioned room
2. Cooling water quality
Good water quality is a good quality guarantee for lasers and cutting heads!
Failure to replace the cooling water for a long period of time will result in an increase in conductivity, an abnormal pH, and an increase in microorganisms and impurities.These are the main culprit for cutting heads and laser health! Especially in summer, the ambient temperature is high, and these issues should be taken into account!
Suggestion:
- Please replace distilled water or deionized water regularly (according to the laser manufacturer's standard), 3 months is appropriate;
- The cooling water pipe on the cutting head is recommended to replace the colored pipeline to prevent the microorganisms from being rapidly exposed to sunlight and block the cooling water path of the cutting head and the laser
3. Laser head housing cleaning
Recommendation:
Please use the air gun to purge the laser head housing when you are working to prevent dust from entering the inside of the laser head, causing the lens to burn out.
